Customer Service / Office Assistant

Stick Mobility is looking for a Customer Service / Office Assistant to join our team in Hood River, Oregon.


Stick Mobility is a fitness product and training system designed to help you move better by improving your flexibility, strength, and coordination. We focus on helping athletes, coaches, and medical practitioners from various areas of sports, fitness, and healthcare. From pro athletes to personal trainers, yoga instructors to kettlebell specialists, chiropractors to physical therapists; we work with them to apply the Stick Mobility principles into how they view movement with the goal of helping them and their clients reach their full potential. We are honored to have many professional sports teams and athletes incorporate Stick Mobility into their training programs across the MLB, NBA, NFL, NHL, and PGA golfers.


The ideal candidate for the Customer Service and Office Assistant role will be naturally motivated by helping people, problem-solving, be computer savvy, and have an interest in fitness and sports.


You will be trained in our specific office logistics and systems to support the operations and marketing functions e.g. Google G-Suite apps, Shopify and ShipStation website management, Facebook Inbox. You’ll also be trained on the Stick Mobility education program to acquire the knowledge to respond to customer inquiries.


The role requires an ability to communicate professionally and concisely on the phone, in person, and in writing on email and social media. The successful candidate will be able to manage several workstreams efficiently and calmly and enjoy working with a small team to tackle an ever-changing range of challenges to build the brand and grow the business. 


Primary Responsibilities 
- Answering customer phone calls, emails, and questions on social media.
- Product shipping management.
- International Distributor support.
- Sales Affiliate support.
- Tradeshow and education course coordination.
- Updates to website content for education courses and customer service content.  


The position is full-time based at our office by the Waterfront Park in Hood River, Oregon, and is an opportunity to be an early team member in a new and growing business. Our convertible sit / stand office desks are well spaced apart with very low foot traffic in this marketing and operations-based office (no retail customers).  Some work-from-home days are possible for proven and dependable candidates that have a functional home office setup.


Annual salary starts at $45,760 ($22.50 an hour) and includes 20 days paid vacation / PTO / sick days to use as you wish, plus 8 days paid national holidays. We have a company health insurance plan you may choose to enroll in.
